Engineering's Common Program student

Camila is a new member of our team. She still has to decide which engineering area is going to follow.

She is a member since March 2016.

 

Carlos Celemín
Ph.D student

Carlos is working in interactive machine learning algorithms for his doctoral thesis. He won the Best Science Paper Award in the RoboCup 2015.

He is a member since 2014.

 

Constanza Villegas
Electrical Engineering student

Constanza is currently working on new cooperative behaviors in our team. In the past she used to work in the active vision system as well as some vision-related developments.

She is a member since May 2014.

 

Francisca Herrera
Electrical Engineering student

Francisca is a new member of our team, so she is currently working hard in learning new concepts.

She is a member since March 2016.

Gabriel Azócar
Team Captain - Computer Engineering student

Gabriel is currently working on object detection, concerned mainly on the realistic ball perception. He also serves as community manager of our website, being creator of several media we shared on it.

He is in the team since October 2014.

Javier Ruiz-del-Solar
Team Leader - Professor

Javier is a Professor in the Department of the Electrical Engineering of the University of Chile, as well as Executive Director of the Advanced Mining Technology Center (AMTC) of the same university. He was the organizing chair of the Four-Legged competition in 2007, TC member of the Four-Legged league in 2007, TC member of the @Home league in 2009, Exec Member of the @Home league since 2009, and co-chair for the RoboCup 2010 Symposium

 

 

José Miguel Yáñez
Ph.D student, former Team Captain (2012-2016)

José Miguel is cursing his doctorate in Electrical Engineering working on new gait algorithms based on DMPs. He is also the team captain since 2012.

He joined the team in March 2010.

Kenzo Lobos
Electrical Engineering student

Kenzo currently works on many areas, having work in vision, actuation and decision making. He is also the repository manager.

He joined the team in August 2014.

Luis Cossio
Engineering's Common Program student

Luis is a new member of our team. He still has to decide which engineering area is going to follow.

He is a member since March 2016.

Matías Mattamala
M.Sc student

Matías is working in visual localization systems for his master thesis. He has been working on visual-related topics since 2012. He also serves as media designer of the team, creating the team logo, t-shirts and other media.

He joined the team in October 2011.


Matías Silva
Electrical Enginering student (final year)

Matías was a member from 2012-2014, and he is back to work on his final engineering project during 2016. He will work on the development of new NAO kicks.

Nicolás Cruz
Electrical Engineering student

Nicolás is currently working in alterative schemes for robot self-localization such as ICP.

He joined the team in March 2015.

Pablo Cano
M.Sc student, Former team captain (2016-2017)

Pablo is developing multi-tracking systems based on Random Finite Sets for his master’s thesis. He also serves as team captain since 2016.

Before working on his thesis, Pablo used to work in decision making developing the behaviors used by our team, as well as solving localization issues.

He is a member since November 2011.

Pablo Miranda
Computer Engineering Student

Pablo used to be an Astronomy student, since 2016 is a Computer Engineering student.
He was a member from 2013-2014, and now returned to our team in 2016 after a hiatus.

 

Pablo Saavedra
Electrical Engineering student (final year)

Pablo is a final year electrical engineering student. For his final engineering project he is working on model predictive control systems for the NAO gait. He also works in robot inter-communication.

He joined the team in March 2013.

 

Rodrigo Pérez
Electrical Engineering student

Rodrigo is currently working on the whistle detection. He joined the team in August 2015.
